A cart pulled up in front of the Marine base. A new transfer to the area was arriving today. Though the Marine had been in the service for what was listed as three years, the base was listed as only her second post with one week at the other one. This of course was the unclassified stuff. The higher ups at the base knew a few more things. First that this was Maybird Gremlin, Daughter of the Fleet Admiral. The relationship was kept on the downlow since she wanted to make a name for herself, not just being the daughter of the general. Second was the fact she was a cyborg and had some maintainence instructions set for her. As she stepped out of the cart, the sunlight hit her uniform perfectly. Even though she was the same rank as new Marines, her uniform seemed to sparkle. The dark blue pants were pressed to a razors edge crease. The bottom hems went over a pair of white ankle high sneakers that were absolutely spotless. The top of the shoes had a light blue ring over where laces would be. If anyone got a good look at them from the top, they would be able to see the ground below. Her standard issue sailor short was crystal clean and the tie was knitted with almost laser precision. In addition to her uniform, she also had a pair of long white gloves. Marine symbols on the back of her hands, showing they were standard issue.
Two other sailors were in the back, trying to unload the heavy crate clearly marked C.R.A.T.E. Thier backs cracking under the weight. Seeing them having trouble, she walked to the side of the wooden box, and grabbed the edge, tilting it towards her she lifted it from their grasp and carried it in through the gate, setting it down next to her. She then offered a salute to the two sailors who were standing there in awe before saluting back and returning to work. Maybird was expecting to meet her superior at the gate. Was her information incorrect. Did she have to go to an office? That would be normal protocol, but she was told to wait just inside the gate for some reason. |

THOUGH WE STILL STAY UP ALL NIGHT, THE MORNINGS AREN'T QUITE AS BRIGHT Mavis was a Fleet Admiral of the Marines. Obviously, his charisma exploded whenever he went and it could drop the jaws of everyone who met him especially the marines officer. On board of his grand ship, he had a dinner on the deck, specially arranged for the Fleet Admiral himself. Behind him following was 5 other ships under the command of each rear admirals and captains-alike. All of them had the same objective, escort the flagship and the fleet admiral until he reached his destination. After some time finished, Mavis gulped down a glass of wine and stood from his seat. The ship was slowly approaching the port and the sailors were pretty busy to prepare for landing. When the superiors were around, they were expected not to do any mistakes and it could shake even the experienced ones. The ship was finally stopped and the landing board was settled. Mavis took several steps forward and finally he stepped on Shells Town, a marine base in East Blue. "Agh, what a nice scent and a comfy environment." Mavis nattered. His sole objective was to meet his daughter, not to create a father-daughter reunion but to check what she was doing and how's her reassignment. Mavis's daughter was reassigned to Shell Town and it wasn't, of course, an order from Mavis himself. The sailors behind him marched properly and they adjusted themselves with the pace of the Fleet Admiral. "May... How's Shell Town?" Mavis stopped himself at the back of a girl. EDIT NOTE: Maybird Gremlin I will give time between my posts so I won't reply fast. You know why right? Mavis isn't a PC and he's an NPC. So, I will wait if other marines PC like to enter the thread. It's weird if you interact with NPC only lol. Sorry, I hope you understand. ^^ However, when no one is coming, I will post rapidly XD. 0200+ WORDS |

There was something in the air. Barometric pressure was rising. Silence was falling behind her. Sailors were starting to move more quickly around her and those of her rank were were finding someplace to hide out of sight but still get a look. From what it looked like a vicious monster was approaching who would slay anyone that was not the ideal personification of Perfection and Order. Suddenly she heard a voice. One that called her May. Her heels were already together. Her resting position was at attention after all. Right foot went back and her toe hit the ground in line with the otes of her left foot, staying close together. She then pivoted on her left heel and right toes to the right until she was looking at the source of the voice and her heels clicked together again.
Standing before her was her father. The most loving and tender man in the world. Why was everyone afraid of him. Oh right, he was the Fleet Admiral for the entire Marine Corps. It was only when he was in uniform did that thought ever dawn in her head. she snapped a saulte to him as she looked to him. Finally to answer his question her hand snapped down over her heart and then forward with the international symbol, thumbs up. She then looked around his right side to the ships in port with a questioning look, wondering what everything was about here. |

THOUGH WE STILL STAY UP ALL NIGHT, THE MORNINGS AREN'T QUITE AS BRIGHT "Good!" Mavis replied and he gave out a smile. He saluted his own daughter because he knew even if there was a family bond between them, around their workplace, they should work and maintain the normal protocol of the marines. If Maybird like Shells Town, Mavis could at least be proud that there was no problem she encountered on her first day. He noticed that Maybird was diverting her attention towards the ship, the port was a bit busy. So, he tried to regain May's attention once more, "So, I'm here only to see your reassignment, sailor. I hope you can do your first duty well here. You should report in to the Captain of the base immediately" He stopped for a moment and then, he began to talk in soft voice. "Hmmm... Why would you choose this place anyway? You can do well in Grand Line and obviously, I will be able to keep my eyes on you better." He care about his daughter's sake so he kept treating her like a little girl, even when her age kept progressing. EDIT NOTE: Seems it's only both of them, okay, will post faster >.< 0200+ WORDS |

Maybird smiled as her father noted her approval of the city. But he seemed to miss why she was looking towards the port, her curiosity on what brought him here was maybe not so apparent to her parent. But he then seemed to answer it somewhat. She doubted the Fleet Admiral would bring a good chunk of said fleet to just check in on her reassignment. But then again, he was the top of the world so they might just be the bodyguards to equal his power in case anyone was stupid enough to come against him. Of course she should report to the Captain, but she had to be dismissed from the Captain's superior first. And that wasn't happening immediatly as his next statement came up. When he specifically mentioned the Grandline and the fact he could keep his eyes on her better, her cheeks puffed out a bit. A visible sign of her being upset at that fact. She didn't really have a way to voice her opinion eloquently, but she had to let him know why. She took a steps to his right and looked right at the boat. Pointing to it, she moved her hand back to the shipwright medal on her lapel. She wanted to design a ship that would serve her Father's fleet perfectly and protect him from anything. But she couldn't get real world skills under the constant gaze of the Shattering Judgement. Snapping a turn to face him again, she looked back up to him. She was always going to be his little girl. And the Winds of Fuego system would ensure that she didn't really age. |
